What I appreciate about ClassiCon is their Patience with the development process. They understand that good design takes time and cannot be rushed.
The Soft Stone Sofa reflects a commitment to local production and the highest Standards of craftsmanship. The precise manufacturing of its complex inner structure in a Bavarian workshop ensures the furniture’s longevity. This commitment to quality is complemented by a collaboration with the international textile manufacturer Zimmer + Rohde. ClassiCon and Zimmer + Rohde share a vision of timeless aesthetics achieved through premium craftsmanship and tactile materials. ClassiCon’s expertise in upholstery blends seamlessly with Zimmer + Rohde’s textile knowledge to create a cohesive Gesamtkunstwerkin both design and making. As all covers are removable and interchangeable, the design supports a longterm usage cycle in line with the principles of the circular economy.
The carefully curated fabric collection features a wide range of textures and finishes – from softly structured qualities to subtly shimmering weaves. Each sofa is given its own distinct character and presence.
The blended fabric Tinto, with its depth effect created by effect yarn, is reminiscent of a wet Stone drying in the sun. The bouclé upholstery fabric Pamir RE is characterised by its soft feel and a fine curly relief. The homogeneous Chenille Andro Plus emphasises the cubic shapes of the upholstery and creates an impression of depth with its subtle sheen and two-tone colourway. The durable linen blend upholstery fabric Antoni combines earthy and sandy natural shades with a creamy white.
